The Chronicle of Higher Education wonders if academe would make a good reality show. I figured I'd get out in front of the auditioning process in case a show gets green lighted. Considering that professors read a lot, here I am doing some morning reading in my kitchen. I suppose things could get exciting if a producer sneaks in and gives me a cocktail and creates conflict with my neighbors. Any good reality show needs drama. There will have to be spats with family members, neighbors, students, and colleagues. America needs to see what a two hour committee meeting looks like.
